GPFS News: Upcoming GPFS Events:

Due to the pandemic and for the health of our members, musicians, and vendors, GPFS has made the decision to cancel Flute Fair 2020 and the Friday night recital. When we know more, we will post it here.

Applications for the Masterclass at Flute Fair taught by our guest artist Valerie Coleman are now open. Four spots are available for students in an age range of high school through to graduate students. This masterclass is FREE for successful participants thanks to the Sara Lasky Scholarship Fund but you must be a GPFS member. Applications close on Saturday, April 4 at 5pm.

Applications for the Young Artist Competition at Flute Fair are now open. There are two competition divisions: the junior competition (middle school) or the senior competition (high school). Students are required to provide their own accompanist on the day, but the GPFS can help students from out of town find a local accompanist. Applications close on Saturday, April 4th at 5pm and you must be a GPFS member to enter. Both the application and payment must be received by that time.

Check out the local flutes for sale by GPFS members. Follow the link to Local Flutes for Sale above.

Past issues of the newsletter have been posted on the GPFS website (follow the Recent Newsletters link above). The most recent issue of the newsletter is only available via mail to GPFS members.
