The ALTO flute may be rented for a 5-day period. You may renew it in person or by phone if no one else has reserved it. Three renewals are possible (total of 15 days from initial date) without taking the flute back. There will be a $5.00 late fee if you fail to return the flute at the agreed upon time.
Deposits and Rental Fees:
A $100.00 deposit is required of each renter at the time the alto flute is rented. The deposit will be returned in full upon the return of the flute if the flute has not been damaged.
Beginning April 1, 2017, there is a $10.00 fee, plus $2.00 per day rental fee which is payable in advance.
The renter is responsible for all damage to the flute or the case. “Damage” is everything beyond normal wear and tear, such as dents, bent keys, bent tenons or rods, pads torn by careless cleaning, major leaks, and major scratches. Any damages to the flute will be repaired by GPFS and the charges will be deducted from your deposit.
