List of Member Resources

The Greater Portland Flute Society (GPFS) is proud to provide a robust set of benefits to our member and some for the flute community as a whole. In this section of  our website you will find:

• Access to Members Only Material: Easy access to logging into the Members Only Area of the GPFS website. This is where you will find our publication The Portland Piper as well as select materials from past events.
• The Portland Piper: A description to our publication/newsletter The Portland Piper, a member benefit that requires logging into your GPFS account with your email and password. The Portland Piper is published four times yearly.
• C-Flute Rentals: Information on and how to rent of of our GPFS c-flutes.
• Low Flute Rentals: Information on and how to rent one of the GPFS low flutes - alto and bass.
• Sheet Music Lending: The free GPFS Sheet Music Lending Library.
• Flutes for Sale: Information on flute sales. You can post an instrument that is for sale for a small fee.
• Study Grants: Information on our Student Study Grants.
• Teachers: A list of area flute teachers. GPFS "teacher memberships" are listed here. To be listed here as a flute teacher go to Join GPFS and select one of the teacher membership options.
• Accompanist: A list of area accompanists. Please let us know if you would like to be considered as an accompanist to add to this list - message publicity@gpfs.org.
• Opportunities Country and World-wide: Announcements of Non-GPFS events that may be of interest to members and others. These listings are provided by our GPFS membership. You can submit information tor this page to publicity@gpfs.org.
