Call for Master Class Performers with Guest Artist, Gareth McLearnon

Masterclass Event - April 9, 2022, Applications Due March, 28th

Announcing a call for performers to apply for the 2022 Sara Lasky Flute Fair masterclass, with guest artist, Gareth McLearnon, April 9, 2022.  This is a virtual event. 

Gareth McLearnon is internationally renowned and a multi-award-winning flutist, composer, arranger and educator who travels the globe every year leading a diverse, innovative, creative and exciting musical career. Gareth is originally from Belfast, Northern Ireland and currently lives in Paris, France.

• For Who: Students in high school through graduate programs may apply for this masterclass. You must be a GPFS member. Learn about the benefits of member.
• To Enter: You must complete the registration form (right). 
• Performance Details: The videos of the selected entrants will be sent in advance to Mr. McLearnon for him to view. The performances will be shown during the masterclass as a basis for the lesson.
• Cost: This masterclass is FREE for the selected performers thanks to the *Sara Lasky Scholarship Fund

Procedures for Applying

1. Record your performance.
2. Upload your video to Youtube, Dropbox, Google, or another online storage system of your choice.  
3. Complete the online registration form on or before Monday, March 28th. You will share a link to your video and a link to a resume or bio on the form. 
4. APPLICATIONS CLOSE ON MONDAY, March 28, 2022 - FIRM.
5. Notification of the results will follow on April 2nd.

7. For GPFS Members: Reminder, all flutists must be current GPFS members at the time of submission.
