October 3, 2023 - Dr. Sophia Tegart shares performances and insights from her newest CD Crossroads - a collection of gorgeous and interesting flute quartets by contemporary composers performed by Sophia, Jonathan Borja, Brielle Frost and Krista Jobson. Pieces by Bassingthwaighte, Beeftink, Ewazen, Mower and Angulo.

October 10, 2023 - Teacher, flutist and composer Phyllis Avidan Louke presents a session on Teaching Effective Sectionals - Tools and Tips. This is a special Zoom session (second Tuesday) for flute teachers and band directors. Phyllis will offer activities and suggestions on teaching flute sectionals that help students improve tonguing, tone, technique, and rhythmic accuracy.

November 7, 2023 - Phyllis Avidan Louke presents "Getting Beginning Students Off to a Good Start," for teachers and band directors.

December 5, 2023 - Adrian Dee, "2020: The Year We Could Not Breathe" - Spend an hour with flutist and composer Adrian Dee as he discusses the concept and writing of this provocative piece, and shares the video of the piece's premier performance at this year's NFA convention in August, by flutist Anthony Trionfo.

January 2, 2024 - Dr. Emily Stanek - Celebrating the Life and Music of Claude Monteaux

February 6, 2024 - Frank Poloney with the Jazz Flute Project presents - Taking a Moment to Look Back/Historic Jazz Flutists Inspiring the Next Chapters/Generation. Frank will share a selection of historical jazz flutists who laid the foundation for where we are today, some foundational jazz history, and some recommended listening for jazz flute.

March 5, 2024 - Alby Thoumsin and Sara Marvin with Flutestock present - The origin and mission of Flutestock along with some highlights of past performances, and some insights on the Native American flute community in Oregon. They will also share resources for learning more about the Native American flute and upcoming events.

April 2, 2024 - Flutist Alexis Evers presents on Flute and Percussion Music including an introduction to composer Dr. Andrea Reinkemeyer and a performance of her composition for flute and percussion Red Flame.

May 7, 2024 - Dr. Jacqueline Cordova-Arrington, flutist and faculty at the University of Oregon, will workshop how to create a relaxed and rich tone freeing the flutist to better manage dynamics and tone colors.
