Flute Ensemble Event - All Ages and Levels Welcome

Join GPFS as we host our second flute ensemble event – a fun-filled opportunity to meet and play music with other flutists.

All Levels and Ages Welcome

This event is open to GPFS members and invited guests

Day/Time: January 20th, 2024; 9:30am to 12:30pm

Location: Multnomah Arts Center; 7688 SW Capitol Hwy; Portland, OR  97219

Program:

• 9:30am: Registration
• 9:45am: Introductions; Warm up using Feldenkrais Method - Flute Ensemble Exercises - Warm Up Feldenkrais Method.pdf
• 10:10am: Break; Separate into Group A (advanced beginner/intermediate) 
• and Group B (intermediate/advanced)
• 10:20am – 11:45am: Group Play
• 11:45am - 12:30pm: Light Reception

Register Here: Please register to attend by clicking on one of the options to the left.  You will be asked to register for one of the following groups. A link to the repertoire for that group is included here to help with your decision as to which group to choose - Group A or Group B.

Copies of the music we own will be available on the day of the event.  There will be ample opportunity for you to play with various partners and more than one part.
