Join GPFS as we host our second flute ensemble event – a fun-filled opportunity to meet and play music with other flutists.

Day/Time: November 2, 2024:
- 9:30am to 12:45pm - Ensemble Event/FluteWorks Seattle exhibit
- 1:15pm to 4:45pm - Flute Trial Appointments with FluteWorks Seattle (separate registration required – see link below)

9:30 am: Registration
9:45 am: Introductions; Warm up using Feldenkrais Method
10:10 am: Break; Separate into Group A (advanced beginner through intermediate) and Group B (intermediate through advanced)
10:20 am – 11:45 am: Group Play
11:45 am - 12:45 pm: Light Reception/FluteWorks Seattle exhibit
1:15 pm - 4:45pm: Flute Trial Appointments with FluteWorks Seattle*
REGISTRATION FOR: Flute Trial Appointments. If you want to try instruments you must schedule using this link for FluteWorks Seattle. It is separate from registering for the flute ensemble event itself.
REGISTRATION FOR EVENT: Please register to attend by clicking on one of the options to the left. You will be asked to register for one of the following groups. A link to the repertoire for that group is included here to help with your decision as to which group to choose - Group A or Group B.
Copies of the music we own will be available on the day of the event. There will be ample opportunity for you to play with various partners and more than one part.
Group A (advanced beginner/intermediate) - Examples of the music below. (These PDFs are here so you can select your preferred group. You are welcome to print them, but copies will be available that day. If you print, keep the PDFs separate, and number each PDF starting with 1.)
Group B (intermediate/advanced). (These PDFs are here so you can select your preferred group. You are welcome to print them, but copies will be available that day. If you print, keep the PDFs separate, and number each PDF starting with 1.)
What to Bring: (1) In addition to your flute, we ask that you bring a music stand if possible.
Group B participants can also try one of our low flutes!
