GPFS Board Member Update
We have recently had several changes to our GPFS Board of Directors line-up. We’d like to welcome new Board Members Marcy Lohman, Deborah Johnson and Christina Savin.
Marcy Lohman, who teaches at Reed College, conducts the Metropolitan Youth Symphony Flute Choir and maintains a large private studio will be joining us as Vice President. She is already hitting the ground running in producing a concert and workshop with guest artist Steve Kujala.
Deborah Johnson, who plays in Rose City Flute Choir and the Lake Oswego Millennium Band, will be replacing LeeAnn Sterling as our Commercial Membership Chair. Debbie has great organizational and computer skills and will be a wonderful asset to GPFS!
Christina is fairly new to Portland, but has been playing with Rose City Flute Choir and is looking forward to getting more involved with flute activities in Portland. She will be joining the Board as a Member At Large. Welcome Marcy, Debbie, and Christina!
LeeAnn Sterling has resigned from the Board after two years of service as Fundraiser and Commercial Membership Chair. We have appreciated her hard work and input to our organization. Thanks LeeAnn!
There are still a few openings on the GPFS Board such as Fundraiser, Newsletter Assistant, and Membership. If you are interested in more information about getting more involved and joining the Board in one of the open positions, or as a Member at Large, please contact any Board Member or Phyllis Louke at 503-579-6987.
